Required Documents For Court Marriage in India
The following is a list of documents to be presented with the court marriage application to the marriage registrar in india by the couple for Court Marriage in India
1. Declaration that the parties are not within the prohibitive blood relationships
2. Signed copy of the intended marriage notice by both parties
3. Proof of residence of the parties ( Voter Card)
4. Proof of age of the bride and the groom( H.S.Admit Card /Birth Certificate
5. For a divorced/Wodowed spouse:
a.Divorce Decree and /or if a widowed spouse: spouse’s death certificate.
6.In case one of the party to the marriage is of Foreign National.
a. Single Certificate from the Embassy of their Country.
7.If the parties want to register their marriage post social marriage as per their personal laws, marriage card or any other proof of social mariage.
